At Plays On Word, we consider our supporters as more than a source of gifts to keep our missionary afloat. When you choose to entrust YOUR gifts and prayers into OUR care, we don't take that lightly.

God has placed a unique model on our hearts. Since we don’t “charge” an official fee for our performances, we can’t rely on ticket sales to cover our costs. Not only is your tax-deductible partnership essential to the continued success of Plays On Word Theater, but enough support allows us to encourage through the Gospel in MORE places... MORE often... FULL time.  Play a vital role in partnership WITH us as we illuminate God’s Word across America. We couldn’t… and wouldn’t do it alone.

FLOCK on a THOUSAND HILLS —

God Doesn’t Need Our Sacrifice  In addressing the Israelites, God makes it clear that He does not NEED their sacrifice.  Everything belongs to Him anyway so they would just be giving back what was already His.  They WERE carrying out what was required by the law, however, what God requires MORE of, is TRUE worship… an offering, not entrenched solely in obligation but, one filled with thanksgiving and gratitude.

God Owns It All; He Owns US  Further in that same paragraph, God tells us to “call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” (Psalm 50:15) This is still a relationship of bond servant and Master but, based on salvation and devotion.

We Walk By Faith During Plays On Word Theater’s first tour across the country, surrounded by the hills of California, God impressed on our hearts yet another example of HIS provision through this scripture. He has astounded us throughout the process of becoming a nonprofit each and every moment, right up to and through out our faith journey to California.  Each step HE lights confirms the direction we’ve taken to not be a burden to any community God leads us to.  This is why we don’t charge for our performances and we design all the marketing materials for each church/ community ourselves.  God has promised to provide and He does…

EACH.

AND.

EVERY.

DAY.

We Rely on God & The Support of HIS People  In this same fashion, God sends us to His mission field through the hearts He has called to help us. THIS is the only way we go. It’s the only way we can go full-time one day.  It’s the only way we can go in the RV we know God has for us.  While in California, God placed on our hearts “1,000 supporters”.  No gimmicks or specific dollar requests, just 1,000 monthly supporters…”and watch what I can do”.  Everything we have is God’s and our life is not our own.  We live as Hebrew 13:15 professes….”Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.” So, just as we professed that with our lives we will spread the Gospel through these visual sermons, we will also surrender to His prompting now…and watch, with thanksgiving and gratitude, what He will do. At the time of this initial writing we had 6 monthly supporters… now we're up to 17 so, only 983 more to go. Won’t He do it? YES, HE will.

If you haven't already noticed, there are always tons of things happening behind the scenes.  We love our extended family and like to share the fun creative stuff with our faithful partners and supporters.  Whether it's $5 or $10 a month, or beyond, from our faithful monthly partners, we take care of our own and love to share the fun, creative stuff we create.

We know we don't come to the table for what's ON the table, but just know, when you join our circle of supporters, we'll be serving up some extra goodies just to show how much we care.  :)
